Keynotes, panels, board briefings and closed sessions. The details below are the ones needed to give you an answer rather than a question.

Before you write

Technical topics are drawn from the three doctrine documents: network isolation and zero trust, governing agentic systems, and cloud spend as a control discipline. Sessions can be pitched at board level or at practitioner level, but not usefully at both in the same hour.

He also speaks on the commercial and policy side: what actually attracts foreign direct investment and what merely announces it, how a digital economy strategy survives contact with the companies it is meant to attract, and the trade-offs between open markets and domestic digital growth. The archive of past talks under notes shows the range, including sessions at the United Nations in Geneva and at ASEAN–Japan business meetings.

Formats that work well: a forty-minute keynote, a moderated panel, a closed board briefing, or a half-day workshop. Sessions under twenty minutes rarely justify the travel unless he is already in the city.

Four to six weeks of notice is comfortable. Less is possible for anything in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

Slides, a short and long biography, and a photograph are on the speaking page and can be used without asking.

Not taken on

  • Vendor-sponsored sessions where the content is agreed in advance by the sponsor.
  • Panels with more than four speakers, where there is rarely time to say anything useful.
