Covid19 recovery is a long, slow, and bumpy. At the same time, it has accelerated digital adoption in Malaysia and other parts of the world. Companies are taking various types of “try & error” initiatives to rethink operation, business model, customer success & turbo-charge their businesses. Changes happen at a different pace depending on the industry. We have seen growth accelerated for digital companies, especially in the e-commerce, logistic, data analytics & cloud sector. But the biggest gap is this magic word called “Skillsets”. The ability for Private, Public & Academia to quickly identify, develop, and enhance the skillsets and do what it takes to produce world-class talents with integrity to meet global demands and tap into global networks would be the key success factor to thrive in this era.
